the THEATRE

Stones
in his Pockets:
This charming, low-tech comedy examines what happens
when a Hollywood film company descends on a small
village in a remote part of Ireland to film a big-budget
blockbuster. On a virtually bare stage, two actors
play 17 characters between them, including the film's
female star. A must - see play, worth it for the hil`arious
Riverdance scene alone. What theatre's all about!

Westminster
Abbey:
An architectural
masterpiece, first consecrated in 1065 as the Norman
church built for Edward the Confessor, with subsequent
bits added by Henry III in the 13th century, Henry
VII in 1503 and, finally, Hawksmoor in 1745. The Abbey
has long been linked to Royalty: every king and queen
of England (bar two) has been crowned here since William
the Conqueror in 1066.
